- Obituary:
Pleasant View - Clejo Campbell was born in Ogden Utah, September 11, 19 3 3 to Donald Ira and Florence Ballif Campbell. She grew up in North Ogde n , had two sisters, Julia and Suzan, and one brother, Clark. Clejo was t h e oldest sibling.
Clejo graduated from Weber High School in 1951. She met Don Samuel Knig h t while in Mr. Maurice Barrett's American History Class in her junior y ea r. They dated throughout High School and were engaged to be married o n Gr aduation night from High School. Clejo married her high school sweet hear t on March 21, 1952, in the Salt Lake Temple.
They have been married for over 60 years. During that time they raised f i ve children: Brenda (Roy) Wyatt of Jerome, Idaho, Cindy (Terry) Venabl e o f Layton, Julie (Lonny) Della Lucia of Plain City, Sam (Sheila) Knigh t o f Pleasant View, and Gail (Brent) Ahlstrom of Huntsville.
Their posterity has grown into 23 beautiful grandchildren and 36 great g r andchildren.
Together, Don and Clejo have served five LDS Missions. They were calle d t o serve a mission to Perth Australia in 1985 as Public Communicatio n Dire ctors. Their name tags were changed by the Elders to read, Elder H oney an d Sister Honey because that is how Don and Clejo always addresse d each ot her all the time. Upon their return, they served a Stake Missio nary Train ing Mission and three missions as hosts for the Joseph Smith B uilding i n Salt Lake City.
Clejo and Don have traveled extensively to many places throughout the wo r ld and the United States. They loved to travel and be together.
Clejo was an Executive Secretary and took great pride in her work. She h a d many talents and kept busy quilting, painting, crocheting, sewing, co ok ing, dancing, journal keeping, genealogy, and planning family gatherin gs . Clejo and Don took their families and extended families on family re uni ons for several years. They planned to go to a new destination each y ea r so the family would enjoy and appreciate this beautiful country of A mer ica.
Clejo served in many positions in the LDS church. Most of her callings w e re in the Relief Society and Primary Organizations.
Clejo is survived by her husband, the world's greatest caretaker, Do n S . Knight, her sisters, Julia Nelson of Oregon, Suzan Creamer of Orego n, a nd Clark Campbell of Arizona.
Clejo and Don have had a special bond and were rarely apart, their mot t o is: "If we cannot do it together, we don't do it!" Theirs is the grea te st love story of all.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 a t t he Pleasant View 8th Ward, 250 West Elberta Drive. Friends may call F rida y, November 23, 2012 at the Ogden Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blv d, fr om 5 to 7 p.m. and prior to services at the church from 9:40 to 10 : 40 a. m.
