RIVERDALE --- Lloyd Raymond Wagner, 91, of 1050 W. 6100 S., died Frida y , Feb. 19, 1988 at an Ogden nursing home of causes incident to age .
He was born 26 August 1896 in Plymouth, Neb., a son of John Henry and Fa n nie Cedelia (Reader) Wagner.
Lloyd married (1) Flossie Belle Ellis. They were later divorced. He marr i ed
(2) Mrs. Lydia Marie (Beckstead) Swanner. She later died. He marrie d
(3) Mrs. Sarah (DeYoung) Saunders on March 8 1974 in Ogden .
He was a member of the LDS Riverdale 8th Ward, and a member of the C.F . W . Barracks #1011. He was a veteran of World War 1, serving with the U . S . Army. He moved from Nebraska to Idaho, then from Idaho to Utah, bu t mos t of his formative years were spent in Idaho. He was active in Bo y Scout s most of his life. He had held various positions in the LDS Chur ch. He w as an Ogden Temple worker from Aug. 14, 1975 to Sept. 2, 1978 .
Lloyd had worked for Hill Air Force Base and Dugway Proving Grounds reti r ing from Hill AFB at the age of 70 years .
He had traveled all over the United States, Canada and Mexico. He enjoy e d camping, fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his widow of Riverdale, two sons and three daughters: Wesl e y Wagner of Golden Dale, WA; Robert Wagner of South Dakota; Mrs. (Paul) Ve rna) Morgan of Lancaster, CA; Mrs. Jack (Ida) Krussell of Clearfield ; Fra nces Richards of Lancaster, CA; one step-son, Wayne George Saunder s of Ca stle Rock, CO; three step-daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Shirley) Moss o f Ogden ; Mrs. Kenneth (Marion) West of Roy, UT; and Mrs. Chester (Barbar a) Fortu na of Clearfield, UT. He was also survived by 36 grandchildren , 104 great -grandchildren; and 52 great-great-grandchildren .
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 6 sisters, and 2 grandchildren .
Services will be held Monday at 11 am at Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mor t uary, 838 38th Street. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday fro m 6 t o 8 pm and from 9:45 until 10:45 am on Monday .
Interment will be in Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park (Ogden, UT).
