Obituary: Mrs. Ellen Hurst Whipple, 73, widow of the late Daniel Whippl e , died at the family residence, 957 Ninth East Street, at 2 a.m. Saturd ay . Born in England February 3, 1862, Mrs. Whipple was a daughter of John a n d Charlotte Brooks Hurst. She had resided here the last 32 years. Surviving are five sons, George W., J.
