Lee Howard Talbot, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, pass e d away May 24, 2002, of a sudden heart attack, at his home in Branford , C onnecticut.
Born Dec. 1, 1948 in Salt Lake City, UT to Eugene L. and Margaret Hocki n g Talbot. Married Nancy Terry, Feb. 26, 1971 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Lee graduated from East High School and the University of Utah. He serv e d an honorable mission for the LDS Church in the New England States fr o m 1968-70. He was called to serve in the US Army during the Vietnam er a . Lee was responsible for selecting the sites and supervising the const ru ction of many Fed Ex Buildings across the United States and into Canad a . He was an accomplished artist and had a book of his own poetry publis he d. He was a devoted father. He coached his sons', Bill and John's socc e r and baseball teams - never missing a game. He was his daughter, Trici a ' s biggest fan - from her earliest years of singing and dancing throu g h performances with Ballet West and Pioneer Theatre Co. The joy of hi s li fe was his delightful grandson, Brayden.
Survived by former wife of 31 years; daughter, Tricia (Wade) Thomas; so n , John; grandson, Brayden, all of CT; son, Bill (Jessie); mother, Marga re t H. Talbot; brothers, Terry (Bonnie); Randy (Lisa), all of Salt Lak e Cit y; brother, Frank (Mary) of MD; and many nieces and nephews. Preced ed i n death by his father.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2002, 12:00 noon at Wasat c h Stake Center, 8170 So. Short Hills Dr. (3425 East), Salt Lake City, U T . Friends may call at the Stake Center from 10:30-11:45 a.m., precedin g t he services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Cemetery.
