  Obituary: SERVICES FOR JOHN RICHARDSON Funeral services for John W. Richardson, 84, of Olney Springs, were he l d Wednesday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Crist Funeral Home in Fowler. Richa rd son died Saturday, March 6th at Denver General Hospital where he was t ran sferred from Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Rocky Ford by Rocky Ford a mbul ance. He was born October 17, 1891 in Kansas and was employed as a mechanic a n d construction worker until his retirement. Officiat[ing at] the funeral service was the Rev. Guy Botkin of the Fir s t Methodist Church of Fowler. Organ meditations were played by Mrs. Pa ul ette Griffy. Casketbearers were Ed Suher, Ed Baker, Irwin Mosier, Buck McCleary, Bo b M illholin and Cecil Galbraith. Burial was in Olney Springs Cemetery. Mr. Richardson is survived by his widow, Nellie; two sons, Delbert of Ol n ey Springs and John H. of Winchester, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Lel a Hi ninger of Pueblo and Mrs. Verla Mae Crowe of Denver; two sisters, Mr s. Ve ra Johnson of Selma, Calif., and Mrs. Bessie Gribble of Olney Sprin gs ; 8 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
