Obituary: Ross Ruland Vail, age 54, passed away Monday, February 9, 19 9 8 at his home.
He was born January 10, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Jessi e a nd Margaret Ruland Vail. He married Kathleen A. Laughlin on August 17 , 19 96 in Murray, Utah. Ross had worked for Salt Lake Valley GMC for th e pas t seven and one half years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and rest orin g classic cars.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen, Clearfield; four sons, Kurt, Wisconsi n ; David Carlson (Carrie), Kearns; Lane Carlson (Faybra), Kearns; Kenne t h Ferree, Roy; a daughter, Shannon Ferree, Clearfield; four grandchildr en . Also surviving are a brother, Richard; three sisters, Beverly, Marg e an d Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and th ree b rothers.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 12, 1998 at 2 p.m. a t L indquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State.
