Joann Kaye Stott Crandall 1965 ~ 2005 JoAnn Kaye Stott Crandall, 39, o f O rem, Utah passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 18, 2 005 . Sh e was born July 10, 1965, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents wer e Kar l J and Geneva N. Stott. She married Vernon Lee Crandall in the Sal t Lak e Temple on June 8, 1988. They are the parents of three sons: Gario n, Bra don and Noland. She was educated in the Salt Lake and Provo school s, late r graduating from BYU. She served an LDS mission to Brazil.
She was a very talented and creative person. She was a member of the Ut a h County Quilt Guild and created many beautiful quilts. She had the abi li ty to put together colors and fabrics in such a way that they would si ng . She was also an excellent quilting teacher. She was talented in man y ot her crafts as well. She was proficient at cross stitching and workin g wit h warm glass. Lately she was involved with creating many beautifu l item s with beads.
She had many friends who loved her. She was a good listener. She was alw a ys willing to help other people. She was able to talk to anyone and h a d a knack of putting others at ease. She had great relationships with h e r sons and wanted them to succeed. She worried about them and her husba n d more than herself and wanted her sons to be courteous and polite. Sh e i s survived by her husband and three sons. She is also survived by he r bro ther Allen Karl Stott (Dianna) and her sister Barbara Jean Stott. S he wa s preceded in death by her father, Karl J Stott, and her mother, Ge neva A maryllis Noland Stott.
Funeral services will be held in the Northridge 4th Ward, 165 East 178 0 N orth, Orem, Utah (turn North at 210 East off of 1600 North in Orem) a t 11 :00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2005. The viewing will be at Berg Mo rtuar y (185 East Center Street) in Provo from 6:0 0 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. o n Frida y evening and at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Sa turday.
