Marilyn Bell

Fresno, California - Marilyn Bell passed away peacefully on Monday, Mar c h 29, 2021 at her home in Fresno.
She was born on April 7, 1931, in Ray, Arizona to Lucy (Spence) and Hom e r Jackson Howard. Marilyn was the youngest of nine children .
She graduated from Coalinga High School. She also attended West Hills Co l lege Coalinga. Marilyn had a career as a Collection Manager for Fresn o Cr edit Bureau, American Ambulance and Merchants Association.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edgar Bell; her childre n , Pamela Tolbert (Larry), William Bell (Janee Walkup) and Carolyn Stidh a m (Jeff); her grandchildren Kristen Petros Voss (Brian), Marc Petros, a n d Nicholas Petros (Emilee Hernandez); and great grandchildren Samuel Vo s s and Anderson Petros.
Marilyn enjoyed cooking, painting and challenging herself by solving cro s sword puzzles in ink. Over breakfast she loved watching hummingbirds vi si t the many feeders on her patio. She also enthusiastically supported E d i n his second career as a musician and leader of the Baloney Creek Blu egra ss Band.
Marilyn maintained many friendships from her career and church. She wa s a ffectionately named "Nonnie" by her grandchildren. Marilyn's greates t jo y in life was spending time with family.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Marilyn touched are invited to h e r memorial service at Ranchos Christian Mission Church, 12089 Maywood S t , Madera, CA 93636 on June 27, 2021 at 12:00 pm.
