Loren Grover "Larry" Keenan was a resident of Bloomfield Hills, Oaklan d C ounty, Michigan, for 44 years, formerly of Detroit.
He was a 1951 graduate of Cass Tech High School and he graduated from Mi c higan State University in 1955 with a degree in Economics and from th e De troit College of Law in 1967 - Juris Doctorate
He was also a Veteran - Lt. United States Navy.
Larry retired in 2001 after 23 years as an attorney for Michigan Nation a l Bank.
Formerly he was an assistant attorney with the US Attorney's office in D e troit and a former assistant prosecutor with the Wayne County Prosecuto r' s Office.
Active member at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bloomfie l d Hills, MI.
Larry was devoted to his son, Jeffrey and his activities with New Horizo n s and Special Olympics.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed classical music, history (especially W W II), geography, and swimming.
A loving father and grandfather, Larry was "always there for his childre n " quote from his wife, Lynn.
Husband of Lynn (Romney) for 47 years. Father of Jody Morrill (David) , B rett Keenan (Jean), Susan Mika (Ronald), Bill Keenan (Lori), Pamela F oste r (Shawn), Thomas Keenan (Julie), Alyson Whatcott (Jeffrey) and Jeff rey K eenan.
