Edward Lake, age 82, died August 26, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born 6 August 1908,in Castle Dale, Emery County, Utah, to Robert and Lil l ie Clouding Coates Lake. Married Marguerite Beatty June 10,1933 in Farm in gton, Utah: later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, April 26, 1937 . Sh e died April 25, 1986.
High Priest in the LDS Church, and has served as a 2nd counselor and sec r etary in Elders Quorum, and secretary in Seventies Group.
Formerly employed with EIMCO. An electrical contractor, he owned and ope r ated Lake Electric Company.
Survived by sons and daughters, Connie Jones, Gerry Edward Lake, Lloyd L a Mot Lake and Claudia Mortenson: 23 grandchildren and eight Great-grandc hi ldren: two sisters, Lillie Olivia Lake Jones and Dorthia Lake Christen sen . Preceded in death by sisters and brothers; Grace Lake Curtis, Georg e Wi lliam Lake, Tressa Lake Jones, Bertrum Lake, Ardella Lake, Oliver, R obert , Asa Lake, Myrtle Lake Curtis, Bertha Lake, and Emma Lake.
Funeral services, Saturday, September 1st: 1 pm, Emigration 27th Ward, 1 8 5 P Street. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary 0 East South Templ e , Friday evening 6-8 pm, and at the Ward on Saturday, one hour prior t o s ervices. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
