  Obituary: Sherry Hope, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 14, 2018, at her home. Sherry was born October 2, 1952, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jesse Gale Do w ns and Dorothy Mae Fryer Downs. She grew up and attended schools in Ham e r Elementary and graduated from West Jefferson High School. On August 8, 1997, she married Michael Hope in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Sher r y and Michael made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were later di vo rced. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She r ry enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She loved doing karaoke, graphic ed it ing and working on computers. She was preceded in death by her parents and one older brother, Zane. Sherry is survived by son, Shyanne (Sherry) Mattson of Idaho Falls, ID ; s on, Bannon (Tammy) Mattson of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Shaundy (Larry ) Hino josa of Rexburg, ID; son, Shalen Hope of Idaho Falls, ID; brother , Farre l (Brenda) Downs of Hamer, ID; sister, Glenda (Bruce Cox) Downs o f Idah o Falls, ID; sister, Connie Downs of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Juli e Down s of Emmett, ID; and 30 grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
