June Ray is the Daughter of Edward Ray and Julia Amanda Ostler and was b o rn 11 June 1904, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended school in West J or dan and graduated from Jordan High School. She married Willis Eugene F erg uson on 21 September 1921. They have three children: Julia Margaret , Rodn ey Eugene and Ralph Perry.

June has been active in the LDS Church in the following positions: Prima r y teacher, singing mothers, Relief Society Teacher, secretary of choir , s eminary teacher, and attending the temple. She loves cooking and deco rati ng tables. She also likes needlework and does painting. She has bee n Pres ident of Salt Lake Ladies of the Elks and has worked 30 years fo r the U.S . Government.

Willis was born in Midvale (then Bingham Junction), Utah 17 June 1903 , t o Charles Henry Everett Ferguson and Margaret Perry Ferguson. He ha s bee n active in his Church as scout master and home teacher. He has bee n empl oyed by the railroad and for 28 years in the government. His hobbi es incl ude cabinet making and woodwork.

Ralph Perry Ferguson, 67, passed away on January 10, 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born August 10, 1931 in West Jordan, Utah to Willis Eugene Ferguson and June Ray Ferguson. He married Gayle Marie Southworth on June 6, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Retired from Goodall Rubber Company after 36 years as the regional manager.

Survived by his wife Gayle, two daughters, Darcel Marie Douglass (Bruce), Sacramento, California and Michele Rae Murphy (Mike), Taylorsville, Utah, one granddaughter, Kristen Marie Douglass who was the light of his life and one brother, Rod E. Ferguson (Joann), Sandy, Utah.

The family requests no flowers but to plant something in your yard this spring as a lasting memory of Ralph.

Michele Rae Ferguson Murphy 1957 ~ 2007 Michele passed away March 20, 2007 at her home in Taylorsville, Utah after fighting a valiant battle with massive brain tumors. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 14, 1957 to Ralph P. and Gayle M. Ferguson. Preceded in death by her father. Married Mike D. Murphy September 27, 1990 and made their home in Utah. She was employed in the industrial hose business, following in her father's footsteps. Shelley was loved by all who knew her and greatly admired for her vibrant smile and zest for life. What a blessing it was to be able to share that tremendous spirit. Survivors include her husband, Mike Murphy, her mother, Gayle M. Ferguson, sister Darcel (Bruce) Douglass, their daughter Kirsten; Sacramento, CA. Three children by Mike's previous marriage, Jason, Amy, Holly and a grandson, Kale. One step-daughter, Stephanie that they accepted as their own. They want to express their gratitude for her generous, loving care that will remain in their hearts forever. Michele's wishes for no services are being carried out and there will be a gathering of family and friends to honor her memory Saturday, March 31, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 The family wish to thank all the friends, family and hospital staff that have cared for her.
