    Norma Stewart Pate 1915 ~ 2004 Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Nor m a Stewart Pate, passed away Feb 9, 2004 in Lehi, Utah. She was born Oc t 1 3, 1915 in Hinckley, Utah to George Lyle and Clara Mae Walker Stewart . Sh e was the second of 11 children. She graduated from Hinckley High Sc hool , Excelcis Beauty College, and Utah Technical College. Married Bud W . Pat e, Aug. 15, 1936 in Holden Utah. In her younger years she participa ted i n musical productions and drama. While attending Beauty School in S alt La ke City, she sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She had a beau tiful v oice and sang many years with the American Fork City Choir. She h ad a won derful talent of playing the piano. She is a member of The Churc h of Jesu s Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is the mother of five childr en; Patric ia Rae (William) Fox of Sandy; Bud Duane (Joan) Pate of Hollad ay; Kay L . (Jane) Pate of American Fork; Cynthia (Lynn) Durrant of Pleas ant Grove ; Julianne (Melvin) Blaney of Payson. She has 23 grandchildre n and 32 gre at-grandchildren. Survived by her five children and brother s and sister s George Lyle Stewart, Florence Stewart Smith, Mary Stewar t Abbott, Melb a Jean Stewart Caldwell, Reed Murdock Stewart, Joy Stewar t Christensen, D uane Walker Stewart, Carl Don Stewart. Preceded in deat h by parents, brot her Walker Duncan Stewart, sister Delna Stewart Arthu r and grandson Chris topher Bud Pate. Funeral services will be held at 1 1 am Saturday, Feb. 14 , 2004 in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 4 9 E 100 N, American Fork . Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m . and one hour prior to th e services.

    Bud D. Pate, age 71, passed away January 11, 2012, in Holladay, Utah . H e was born May 23, 1940, in French Camp, California, to Bud W. and No rm a Pate. He attended American Fork High and University of Utah. He marr ie d Joan DePew on June 14, 1975 and later sealed in the Salt Lake City T emp le.

    Our handsome, smart, loving Dad returned unexpectedly to his Heavenly Fa t her and the love of his life, Christopher Bud Pate on January 11, 2012 . W hat a wonderful reunion! Bud has always been a great athlete, excepti ona l at every sport. He loved to golf, rain or shine, and was Club Champ io n at Willowcreek Country Club and Jeremy Ranch. He was honored with 1 0 Go ld Medals from the Olympics at St. George. He was proud of his Roya l Scot tish heritage, a dedicated genealogist, and meticulous in everythi ng he d id. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in man y callings . He adored and was so proud of his wife, children, and dog, C ocoa. His f amily meant everything to him! His claim to fame was that h e made beautif ul babies. He served in the Navy for four years on a min e sweeper. He wa s extremely bright, graduating with a Master's degree i n Geography and ta ught at the University of Utah. He was a successful Re altor and Mortgag e Banker. He had a zest for living, loving, and laughin g. A former Mr. Ut ah, he always stayed in great shape. He will always b e a huge part o f
    our lives until we meet again, one sweet day. "We love you, Dad, give Ch r is a kiss and hug for us"!

    Survived by his beloved wife, Joan;

    Services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Holla d ay 28th LDS Ward Chapel, 2625 Milo Way, Holladay. The family will recei v e friends Tuesday, January 17, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm at Wasatch Lawn Mort ua ry, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC and at the church one hour prior to the s erv ices. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
    Arrangements under the direction of Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, Salt Lake Cit y , UT.

    Tamara Pate 1964 ~ 2006 Our beautiful daughter, mother, sister and frien d , Tamara Pate, passed away in her sleep on October 9, 2006.

    Tammy was born on August 14, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bud Duane P a te and Paulette Johnston Pate Botten.

    She is the youngest of three children and attended Olympus High School . S he married Kent Miner, and then later divorced.

    She had three beautiful children, Jeremy Don (Breanna) Miner, Mitch To d d Miner, and Tamara Chauntil Miner. Tammy loved spending time with he r ki ds and close friends.

    She also loved doing nails aside from working at Smith's, where she wa s e mployed for 23 years.

    She is survived by her three children, father, mother, brother Troy Ly n n Pate, sister Teresa Taylor, her half sisters Brittany Pate, Alexis Ni co le Pate, Danielle Christine Pate.
