Sara F. Ashby 47 of Rupert passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at her ho m e. Sara was born December 26, 1968 to George William Fisher and Lynett e M attingly Fisher. She was married to David Lynn Ashby for 25 years. Sa ra g rew up in Prih and went to school at the College of Eastern Utah whe re sh e earned her Associates degree she then went on to Utah State Unive rsit y and earned her Bachelors in Communicative Disorders. She lived i n Loga n while attending school and while David finished his schooling. S ara an d David then moved to Idaho City, then Wells, Nevada, and Rupert , Idaho . Sara enjoyed working in the elementary school systems.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints an d s pent a lot of time in primary and loved the children, most recently s he s erved in the Young Women. Sara loved cross stitching and sewing clot hes f or her girls, she loved spending time with her family.
Sara is survived by her husband David Lynn Ashby, children Nathan Dale ( K elsey Jackson), Naomi and Neena Ashby, Sister Laura Oman and niece Kat i e Hirschi. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 14, 2015 at the R u pert LDS Stake Center with Bishop Kelly Allen officiating. Services wi l l conclude with burial at the Weston Cemetery.
