Obituary:
Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Heidi Hinckley Benson , o f Provo, passed away peacefully at the Intermountain Medical Center o n Ju ly 23, 2009 due to respiratory complications.

Heidi was a devoted mother to her son, Tyler Gordon Benson and provide d l oving and tender care to him throughout his life. Tyler preceded he r in d eath at the age of 4 1/2.

Heidi graduated from Brigham Young University and was a Registered Nur s e for over 20 years. She was a loving, giving caretaker and her servic e a nd conscientious care was appreciated by many. Her family and patient s we re her foremost priority.

She was born March 10, 1966 in Alexandria, Virginia and grew up in Virgi n ia, Kentucky, and Utah.

She is survived by her parents Reed Amussen Benson and Mary May Hinckl e y Benson, as well as eight siblings, Holly H. Benson Holden, Taft Benso n , Heather H. Benson Stephenson (Mark), M. Mark Benson (Kristen), Lucil l a H. Benson Rhees (Ryan), Joshua R. Benson (Brandi), Lynna H. Benson St ew art (Jared) and Sarah D. Benson. She is an adored aunt to 32 nieces an d n ephews. Her acts of love, kindness, charity and her giving nature wil l b e sorely missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. i n t he Pleasant View Third Ward Chapel, 650 East Stadium Avenue, Provo. F rien ds may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the Chu rch.
Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimp l e Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
