Cleo Bushnell Labrum, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmo t her returned to her father in heaven on March 26, 2011in Las Vegas, NV . S he was surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. All her childre n, g randchildren and many of her great-grandchildren were able to spen d tim e with her in her final days and she will be greatly missed by he r entir e family.
She was born December 4, 1916 in Meadow, Utah to William Emmett and Lo i s Duncan Bushnell. She was the oldest of 7 children. Cleo attended th e LD S Business College. She married her sweetheart LeRoy L. Labrum on Ap ril 6 , 1939 in Farmington, Utah and later Sealed in the St. George Templ e. Tog ether they had 4 children.
Cleo is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints an d w as very active and loved scripture study, she also was President of t he L ady Lions, Chairman of Red cross in Milford, a Room Mother, Lady Tra inma n and belonged to several women's clubs. Cleo was a woman with man y talen ts and hobbies, she loved to sew, make wonderful meals that her c hildre n just loved, and canned fruits. She was a very social, outgoing p erson a nd people of all ages were naturally drawn to her. She was very l oving, a nd she will forever be known as "The Best Mom Ever". She sacrifi ced man y personal wants and needs to fulfill the needs of her children . She wa s always there for the ups and downs of their lives through Chil dhood a s well as into their adult years. She is the mother and grandmoth er of ch ildren and grandchildren who are the absolute love of her life!
Cleo is survived by her children Connie (Max) Keetch of Las Vegas, NV; K a ye Gray (Craig) Baxter of Las Vegas, N V; LaRayne (Bruce) Brown of Mand er field, UT; brother Glenn (Beth) Bushnell of St. George, UT; sister Nor m a (Cecil) George of Bountiful, UT; 8 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchild re n and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her hu sba nd LeRoy L. Labrum, her son Stephen LeRoy Labrum, her parents Willia m Emm ett and Lois Duncan Bushnell, brothers LaMar and Melvin Bushnell, s ister s LaVon Roberts and Elna Schmutz.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 1, 2011 at 11:00 am at t h e Milford Stake Center, located at 748 West 600 South Milford, Utah . A vi ewing will be held, Friday April 1st from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to se rvices . Interment will be at the Meadow City Cemetery, all under the dir ectio n of Southern Utah Mortuary.
