- Obituary:
Olive Beth Kimball Mack died Friday, September 14, 2018 from the natur a l affects caused by ninety-six years of an amazingly full and abundan t li fe. Her mortal journey started in Safford, Arizona on July 31, 1922 . "Bo bby," as she was called by her family and friends, was the second o f fou r children and the only daughter of Spencer W. and Camilla Eyring K imball . Her life was full of adventure, laughter, service, love, and ded icatio n to her family, friends, church, and the Savior that she loved s o much .
She was married to Grant Miller Mack in the Salt Lake Temple of The Chur c h of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on December 6, 1943. They were b le ssed with seven children. Her love for people was demonstrated in th e ni neteen years she served as an elementary school teacher. She also en joye d twenty-two years singing and traveling the world as an alto in th e Morm on Tabernacle Choir. She was a devoted wife, and raised and influe nced th ree generations of grateful descendants. Bobby was known for he r friendl iness, generosity, patience, and compassion. She loved partie s and entert aining. She had talent for music, sewing, and a remarkable a bility to eff iciently prepare wonderful meals for large gatherings. Late r in life, sh e developed a love for oil painting and her artwork grace s the homes of e ach of her children and grandchildren. She is precede d in death by her p arents, husband, and brothers, Spencer Levan Kimbal l and Edward L. Kimbal l. Survivors include her brother, Andrew (Phyllis ) Kimball; seven childre n, Miriam (Lynn) Richins, Randall (Patricia) Mac k, Stephen (Rosita) Mack , William (Sandra) Mack, Spencer (Jane) Mack, Th omas (Allison) Mack, an d Camilla (Steve) Conaway; and 192 grandchildre n and great-grandchildren . A special thanks to all those who so tenderl y cared for her in her fin al years. The numerous visits from family an d friends in the final month s of her life meant everything to her. And t he joy she felt from each cal l or visit was returned in kind. Each was b lessed by her pleasant and inf ectiously cheerful company. Services to c elebrate her remarkable life wi ll be held in the Holladay Twenty-Fourt h Ward Chapel of The Church of Jes us Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4395 S outh Albright Drive (2115 East), Ho lladay, on Friday, September 21, 201 8 at 1:00 p.m. The viewing will be he ld at the same location on Thursday , September 20, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p. m. and prior to the services on Fr iday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Inte rment will be in the Holladay Mem orial Park Cemetery following the funera l.
