DUANE WESTFALL
Tax Specialist
Duane C. Westfall of Avon died February 22nd at age 71. A prominent memb e r of the Avon Community he was an accountant and tax specialist. He wa s e mployed by the Internal Revenue Service in Rochester and also Birds E ye D ivision of General Foods in Avon. He also operated his own accountin g bus iness for several years.
He was an Army Veteran of World War 2. He was a member of the Central Pr e sbyterian Church in Avon, the William VanZandt Hose Co. of the Avon Fi r e Dept. and currently was the Treasurer of the Avon Preservation and Hi st orical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Peg; his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert a n d Gail Westfall of Victor, John and Katie Westfall of Burke, VA; his da ug hters and son-in-law, Debbie and Larry Rodwell of Gates, Abby and Pa t Wal lace of
Lowville, NY; 12 grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday at the Central Presbyterian Churc h i n Avon.
Burial St. Agnes Cemetery.
