- Obituary:
Lola Haslam Coleman passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2008 of Natur a l Causes in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 79.
She was born July 10, 1929 in Lewiston, Cache County, Utah to Willia m J . and Emma Hill Haslam. She was the youngest of five children. She gr ew u p in Cache Valley and graduated from Logan High School .
While attending Utah State University, she met and married Sherwin W. Co l eman in the Logan LDS Temple on March 13, 1953. Together they raised fi v e children, while residing in Ogden, Sugarhouse, Rose Park and Centervi ll e. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint s an d lovingly served in many callings throughout her life, includin g a missi on in Tallahassee, Florida with Sherwin. She loved cooking, cro cheting, r eading, sewing, and camping with friends and family and love d BYU sports . Her greatest love was her family and she went to great len gths to provi de for them.
Survived by three sons and one daughter, Clair (Patti) Coleman, West Bou n tiful, Kent Coleman, Boise, ID; Patti (Ken) LeLaCheur, Kaysville, Crai g ( Kristie) Coleman, West Bountiful; 18 grandchildren and six great-gran dchi ldren. Preceded in death by her husband, Sherwin, son Michael; her p arent s and siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 8, 200 8 a t Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, where fr iend s and family may call on Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and o n Mond ay from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to the services .
Interment-Centerville City Cemetery .
