Donald White Bangerter Gone Farmin' BOUNTIFUL- In the early morning hou r s of Wednesday, May 31, 2006 Donald White Bangerter, loving husband, fa th er, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather return e d to his Heavenly Father while surrounded by his wife and children. H e wa s born June 20, 1921 in Bountiful, Utah to Edith White Bangerter an d Orso n Nephi Bangerter and grew up on the family farm in Bountiful. Do n gradua ted from Davis High School in 1939. He later married his sweethe art JenaV ee Moffitt on August 16, 1941 in Seattle, Washington. They wer e later sea led in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in the Navy in Wor ld War II. D on was a Mason Contractor for 40 years. He was respected b y his employee s and other contractors that he worked with. He also love d to farm and sp ent endless hours growing produce for his family and oth ers with his brot hers, Carter and Floyd. Don is survived by his wife, Je n; children: Ric k (Pat) Bangerter, West Bountiful; Val (Pat) Bangerter , Lake Oswego, Oreg on; Shawna Bangerter, Clinton; Sherrie (DeWayne) Tryt hall, Centerville; W anda (John) Copier, Murray; 20 grandchildren; 33 gre at-grand-children an d 10 great-great-grandchildren. Don came from a larg e family of 12 siblin gs. He was preceded in death by his parents and hi s nine brothers and tw o sisters.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Avalon Care Center for the tend e r care they gave during his final days. Funeral services will be hel d a t 1:00 p.m. on Sat., June 3, 2006 at the LDS Bountiful 31st Ward Chap el , 585 East Center Street, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may cal l Fr iday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary , 29 5 North Main, and Sat. morning from 11: 30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the ch urc h prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
