Obituary:
Charles B (Charlie) Jackson, 87 years young. It was Saturday night Novem b er 9, 2019 and decided enough of earthly life. He passed suddenly to re jo in his beloved Maggie (wife of 60 years) and baby daughter Marilyn. Be cau se of his faith in Jesus Christ and the great Plan of Happiness to al so b e reunited with parents, John Bryan and Velma Olive Robison Jackso n and s isters Eileen and Beverly (Reed). He is survived by his sibling s Shirle y (Stott), Joseph (Sherry), Steven (Pat), Jim (Sherry); his chil dren Char les Jr (Kathe), Cindy Jackson, and Julia Wyman (Steve); and b y 12 grandch ildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He lived a full and wonde rful life wit h an appetite to read and a gift to write. Graduated from M illard High Sc hool in 1950 and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fa me. Attended BA C in Cedar City and then Utah State with scholarships i n Track and Fiel d graduating with a CPA degree. Somewhere in the middl e he served as Capt ain in the Air Force reserves. After life as an accou ntant, he worked pro fessionally as a TPA Executive earning ERISA and CEB S degrees. It can b e said of Charlie that he epitomized living a joyfu l life full of family , friends, and a few pranks here and there. He trav eled the world many ti mes. It can be said that “nobody was a stranger t o him, just a friend h e hadn’t met.” He lived with an attitude of gratit ude for all that he ha d and encouraged others to never give up on pursui ng their dreams. His lo ve for Fairview and the Sanpete Valley was secon d only to his sweet Maggi e. Charlie’s life will be celebrated Monday, No vember 18, 2019 at Fairvie w 1st Ward at 12 p.m. with viewing from 10 t o 11:30 am.
