      Larson, George E., 93, of Lincoln, died Tuesday (5-11-10). He was bor n t o George E. & Anna (Simms) Larson on April 18, 1917 in Mitchell, Nebr aska . George was a Captain in the United State Army having served in Wor ld Wa r II.
      He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln & University of Neb r aska Medical Center-Omaha with a Medical Doctorate. George was a well k no wn rectal/colon surgeon in the Lincoln area. He was the Chief of Staf f a t Bryan Hospital for many years. His memberships included: First Pres byte rian Church & American Cancer Society Board.
