His will was probated 7 Jun 1774, a s lis ted in state probate records. His children received a distributio n on 2 4 Jul 1786, and his wife received a distribution (then Gowdy) on 1 5 Aug 1 785. He was the first husband of Hope Whipple, daughter of Zachar iah Whip ple and Elizabeth Rogers.
