Max Howard Bennett, age 69, died February 19, 1993 from complication s o f a heart attack while gallivanting in Denver, Colorado.
Born February 13, 1924 in Bliss, Idaho, a son of Howard Leslie and Hil l a Durfee Bennett. Married Alta Lorraine Griffin in February, 1944 in Sa l t Lake City; later divorced. She died in March, 1987. Married DonaRae L id dle January 1, 1972 in Kearns.
Member LDS Church. The things that gave him the greatest pleasure in li f e were his family, bowling, crocheting and gallivanting.
Survived by his wife; children, Mrs. Ron (Karen) Ketterer, West Valley C i ty; Shannon Bennett and Claudia Mills, both of Kearns; Mrs. Ellsworth ( J a nine) Moon, West Valley City; Michael Lane and wife Jayne Bennett, So ut h Salt Lake; Brian Leslie and wife Samantha Bennett, West Valley City ; Br uce and wife Lynn Robinson, West Jordan; Gaylon Winward, West Valle y City ; 29 grandchildren; 9 1/2 great-grandchildren; stepmother, Annabel le Benn ett Stewart; sisters, Dolores (Dodie) McLaughlan and Betty Synowi ecki; br others, Richard Dean Bennett, Vern Arnold Bennett, Monte Joel Be nnett, an d Jack L. Bennett. Preceded in death by daughter, Gayle Winward ; granddau ghter, Debbie Bennett; brother, Emmert L. Bennett.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 12 noon, at Kearns 16th Ward, 4660 W e st 5015 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. at McDougal Funeral H om e, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday one hour prior to services a t t he church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
