- Obituary:
James Winget Larsen, 69, our loved and respected husband, father, and gr a ndfather, passed away on February 28, 1997 at his home.
Born November 13, 1927 in Nampa, Idaho to Harold Victor and Mary Almed a W inget Larsen.
He married Lola Johnson in the Manti LDS Temple on June 1, 1957.
James was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a teacher and w a rd clerk; as well as having served an LDS Mission to the Great Lakes.
He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict and taught school in Emery Coun t y for four years and also in the Jordan School District for 25 years . H e owned and operated Donta-Tek Dental Lab. His hobbies included bein g a n artist, photographer, and computer operator.
Survivors: wife, Lola, Midvale; children, Harold (Tammy) Larsen, Bluffda l e; Karen Larsen, Falls Church, Virginia; Kris (Melony) Larsen, America n F ork; three grandchildren; mother, Bluffdale; sister, Dorothy (Klin) S heff er, Murray. Preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 3, 1997 at 1 p.m. in th e M idvale Seventh Ward Chapel, 642 West Jackson Street (8400 South). Fri end s may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, on Sunday fro m 6 - 8 p.m. and on Monday at the Church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
