Writing of Alice, he writes: "1733, Jan. 22. His [Eleazer' s ] w idow [i.e. Alice] being very ancient (she now living in Smithfield) , an d not willing further to act as administratrix on husband's estate , admin istration was given to John Rhodes, of Warwick, who had married t he wido w of James Whipple." [Note: The James Whipple mentioned is Alice' s son, b . in 1686.]
