He served a mission in England, 1923- 1925 . Active member LDS Church. His most recent responsibility, a fiel d repre sentative for the Genealogy Society of Utah. Retired United Airli nes exec utive, working 42 years for the company. Survived by: Wife, Oa k Park, Ill inois; children, Mrs. Serge V. (Marilyn) Woodruff, La Crecent a, Calif.; D ean W. Martin, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; two sist ers, Mrs. C . W. Nalder, Provo; Mrs. Vernard L. (Ethel) Beckstrand, San J ose, Calif. ; two brothers, A. James Martin, Boise, Idaho, Frank A. Marti n, Sal t Lak e City. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. R. A. (Do ris) Badger a nd a brother, Theo R. Martin. Funeral services held in West chester, Illin ois on December 16, 1983. Local funeral services will be h eld Saturday , 1 p.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. So. Temple, where friend s may call on e hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memoria l Park. If desir ed, memorials may be made to the Primary children's Medi cal Center.
