David John Jones
David John Jones, 78, died In Salt Lake Saturday at 8:50 p.m. of natur a l causes.
He was born in Wales December 16. 1866, a son of Thomas and Ann Walden J o nes. He came to the United States in 1870 and to Utah in 1874. He was e mp loyed as a boilermaker by Denver & Rio Grande Western railroad and ha d wo rked at the Gallagher Co.
Mr. Jones had been maintenance man at Richards LDS ward.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida M. Jones, Salt. Lake City; two son s , T. Clyde Jones, Salt Lake City, and Archie W. Jones, Ogden: two daugh te rs Mrs. Ethel Carr and Mrs. Vera Borlase, Salt Lake City: a sister, Mr s . James C. Bertoch, Hunter; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
