PRICE-Donald Allen Smith, age 76, died Sept. 30, 2008 in Price .
He was born Jan. 16, 1932 in Price, Utah to Clarence Eugene and Nellie P r ettyman Smith.Married Donna Jean Blackburn, Feb. 3, 1950 in Grand Junct io n, Colo., she passed away on Sept. 22, 1999. On Feb. 15, 2007 Don marr ie d Katherine Saiz in Price.
Donald was a lifelong resident of Carbon County where he was a retired m e mber of the United Mine Workers of America. He loved to tinker and whe n i t came to projects around the home "Mr. Fix It" could do repair to ju st a bout anything. He enjoyed the outdoors and will be dearly missed b y all.
He is survived by his wife Katherine Smith, Price; sister, Carol (Bill ) L evorton, St. George; son and daughters, Larry Allen (Linda) Smith, Ca stl e Dale, Karen Jean Wood and Jim Bartorelli, Price, Joy Lynn (Kelley ) Reyn olds, Elko,Nev., Diana Marie Wood, Price; step-sons, James (Heathe r) Guer ra, Kearns,Utah, Preston (Brandy) Garner, Killeen, Texas; father- in-law , Frank Jensen, Ferron; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchild ren.H e was preceded in death by his parents, wife, infant son, granddaug hter , Sheradawn Smith; three brothers and two sisters.
