- Obituary:
CLAWSON - Helen Louise Price passed away peacefully on June 22, 2012 sur r ounded by her loving family.
Louise was born Aug. 3, 1935 to Rulon and Ila Mary Blackburn. She marri e d her Childhood sweetheart, Darrel Fame Price, July 12, 1951, later sol em nized in the Manti LDS temple.
She served in various positions in the LDS church and faithfully fulfill e d a church service mission with her husband at the Bishop's Storehouse.
Louise loved to reminisce and had a remarkable memory bank filled with s t ories of people and days gone by. She liked pictures and antiques and a lw ays wondered the story behind things that were old. She was a member o f t he DUP Old Mill Camp where her favorite part of the meeting was alway s wh en they showed an artifact.
She enjoyed crocheting, crafts and painting, planting flowers, listeni n g to music, going for drives, and being with her family who she "love d to o much!" She was patient, understanding, supportive, and will be mis sed b y all who knew and loved her.
Louise is survived by her five children: Bob (Doris) Price, Ferron; Je a n (Randy) Smith, Vernal; Kim (Wade) Riley, Clawson; Gary (Shaunnie) Pri ce , Clawson; Stephen (Heidi) Price, Castle Dale. Her brothers: Rulon (Ca rol yn) Blackburn, Roseville, Calif; Michael (Doris) Jensen, Clawson; an d he r sisters: Sandra (John) Justice, Clawson; Debbie (Frank) Schmidt o f Kala ma, Wash.: sister-in-law Adela Blackburn.
She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Darrel; her father, Rulon; h e r mother, Ila; her stepfather, Frank Jensen; her brother, Sherald Blac k b urn; her sister, Donna Jean Smith and many other friends and loved on es.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at t h e Blue Hills LDS Church (35 W. 200 N. - Ferron). A viewing will be hel d W ednesday, June 27, 2012 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at t he c hurch. Interment will be in the Ferron City Cemetery. Services are i n th e care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest bo ok a n d share memories of Louise at www.fausettmortuary.com.
