- Obituary:
Delma Hansen Mickelsen, 90, of Goshen passed away October 21, 2016 at t h e home of her daughter, Annette Dial under the care of Encompass Hospic e.
She was born February 5, 1926 in Goshen, Idaho to Willis and Mary Stapl e s Hansen. Delma was the third child of five. She had four brothers, LaV er l, Myron, Wilma and Darlo Hansen. Delma grew up in Goshen and attende d Go shen and Firth schools.
She married Eugene Bragg in April 1942. They later divorced. They had s i x children, Sharon (Theone) Wilde of Goshen, Sheldon (Deceased), Sharle n e (Wynn) John of Kimball, Annette (David) Dial of Goshen, Rhonda (Bren t ) Steffler of Goshen, and Shane (Karen) Bragg of Goshen.
Delma worked for the R.T. French Company and Pillsbury in Shelley. She r e tired after 32 years as a Lead Lady.
She liked to crochet, work in her garden, and take long drives in the co u ntry. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. She loved t h e family campouts.
Delma married Ned Mickelsen June 9, 1969. With this marriage she added t w o step children, Mike Mickelsen of Blackfoot and Linda (Ben) Gonzale s o f Irvine, CA.
She is survived by her husband, Ned Mickelsen, four daughters, one son , o ne step son, one step daughter, 20 grandchildren, 54 great grandchild ren , 12 great great grandchildren, and one brother, Darlo Hansen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one grandson , o ne great great grandson, and one great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the G o shen Ward Chapel (792 N 1090 E). The family will receive friends Tuesd a y evening from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oa k ) in Shelley and Wednesday morning from 10:00 till 10:40 a.m. at the ch ur ch. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.
