- William Noyes was born in England, and matriculated at University Colleg e , Oxford, 15 November, 1588, being admitted to the B. A. degree 31 May , 1 592. He was instituted rector of Cholderton in 1602, and married Ann e Par ker about 1595. The inventory of his estate was made 30 April, 1622 , an d his widow Anne appointed administratrix, 28 May, 1622. His wife wa s bor n 1575, and buried at Cholderton, 7 March, 1657. Her will mention s " son s James and Nicholas, now in New England, and son-in-law Thomas K ent, o f Upper Wallup, England."
