Pasted on the inside of the back cove r o f this Bible is "This Bible was left to me by my mother, Mrs. Dorca s C. M itchell who was a daughterernon L. Olney and Louisa Olney, /S/ Mrs . Blanc he Boswell." Mrs. Boswell died May 17. 1928, was buried May 28, 1 928 at T homas, Oklahoma beside her husband, Wm. C. Mitchell. The Bible w as firs t "presented to Louisa Whipple by her father, Stephen Whipple, Ja n.12, 18 39."
